Types of Brow Procedures
We will select the suitable one depending on your features, skin type, and beauty goals.
Powder Brows
Powder Brows technique uses a needle to apply pixel-like dots of pigment into the skin, meticulously building layers of colour and density. This method enhances your eyebrows by adding volume and definition, producing a polished and refined appearance.
For All Skin Types
Suitable for everyone, regardless of skin texture or tone.
Customized Look
From natural to makeup-like look, it can be tailored to meet your aesthetic desires.
Durable Results
Enjoy beautifully defined brows that can last 1-3 years, depending on skin type and care.
Nano Brows
Nano Brows technique uses a machine and a thin needle to implant pigment into the skin with precision to mimic eyebrow hair. This advanced technique fills your natural shape with additional hair stroke-like lines, resulting in ultra-realistic eyebrows.
Unlike Microblading which can cause trauma and scarring, Nano uses a gentler method on the skin and has much better long-term healed results.
For Specific Skin Types
Best on normal to dry skin. Not recommended for very oily skin.
Ideal for Sparse Brows
Most effective for enhancing thin or sparse brows. Less suitable for very dense brows as the strokes may not be visible once healed.
Requires Healthy Skin
Optimal for skin without significant sun damage or complications, ensuring clearer, more lasting results.
Why I Don't Offer Microblading ✗
(And What I Do Instead)
If you're considering Microblading for your brows, it's important to know that newer, more advanced techniques are available, like Nano Brows.
While the end goal is the same — beautiful, defined brows — our path is healthier for your skin and better for long-term results.
| Microblading | Nano Brows |
|---|---|
| Manual tool slices into the skin | Machine implants pigment with an ultra-fine needle |
| Can cause scar tissue and trauma over time | Much less invasive and gentler on the skin |
| Not ideal for oily, sensitive, or mature skin | Suitable for a wider range of skin types |
| Results may heal unevenly | Heals smoother and more predictably |
| Higher risk of long-term skin damage | Designed for better skin health and graceful fading |
Our Process
1 Consultation
We kick off your brow transformation with a personalized consultation. We’ll discuss the eyebrow shape, colour, and style you want. My utmost priority is ensuring you understand the procedure and are comfortable with what’s to come.
2 Design
Whether you're after subtle hair-like strokes or a soft, powdery effect, I tailor each brow to enhance your natural beauty. I use precise tools to craft a shape that complements your unique features and bone structure—no stencils involved! You’ll be involved in every step, and we won’t start the treatment until you’re thrilled with the design we create together.
3 Numbing
I apply a topical anesthetic to keep you comfy and pain-free.
4 Pigmentation
I select a pigment that matches your natural brow hair, ensuring a seamless and natural finish. I meticulously implant the colour with the finest needles, creating stunningly natural brows that perfectly enhance your unique facial features.
5 Aftercare
Post-treatment, I will equip you with all the aftercare essentials to keep your new brows looking their best. From avoiding water and sweat to shielding them from the sun, I have expert tips to ensure your brows heal beautifully and last longer.
Do you have permanent brows you don’t love?
Old pigment can limit your new brow result. Laser Removal and Correction helps fade unwanted microblading, powder brows, or brow tattooing so we can create softer, natural-looking brows that better suit your face.

Your brows will look darker and more defined immediately after the appointment, but that is not the final result. They soften as the skin heals and the pigment settles. I customize the shape, colour and saturation to create a balanced result that complements your face rather than a heavy or blocky brow.
-
You do not need to decide this alone. I consider your facial structure, natural brow growth, colouring, symmetry, skin and personal preferences before recommending a shape and pigment. We create the design together so the finished brows feel like they belong on your face.
-
Yes. I map and draw the proposed shape first, then review it with you from different angles. We can make adjustments before any pigment is implanted, and I do not begin tattooing until you are happy with the design.
-
Powder Brows use a machine and fine needle to build soft, pixel-like shading. They can range from very natural to more makeup-like and are suitable for a broad range of skin types.
Nano Brows also use a machine, but create fine strokes that resemble brow hairs. They are especially useful for adding realistic-looking strokes through sparse areas on suitable skin.
Microblading uses a manual blade to cut hair-like strokes into the skin. I do not offer it because repeated cutting can create more trauma and less predictable long-term results than modern machine techniques.
-
That depends on your skin, existing brow hair and desired finish. Powder Brows are versatile and often the better choice for oily or mature skin, dense natural brows, or clients who want soft definition.
Nano Brows are best suited to normal-to-dry, healthy skin and clients who need realistic-looking hair strokes through sparse areas. I do not recommend Nano Brows for oily skin because the healed strokes are less likely to remain crisp. I will assess your brows and recommend the option most likely to heal well and age naturally.
-
Your brows will initially look darker and sharper than the final result. They may then flake and appear lighter or slightly uneven while the skin heals. The colour gradually returns and settles into a softer result over the following weeks. Judge the finished result only after the full healing period.
-
Yes. The technique simply needs to be chosen for your skin and natural brow hair. Powder Brows often heal more predictably on oily or mature skin because the soft shading does not rely on ultra-fine hair strokes. Sparse brows may be suited to Nano Brows when the skin is normal to dry, or to a soft Powder Brow when greater coverage is needed. The shape, colour and saturation are customized so the result remains natural and flattering.
-
Most clients find the procedure very manageable, and many say tweezing feels more uncomfortable. A topical anesthetic is used, and the sensation is commonly described as light scratching or pressure. I also check on your comfort throughout the appointment.
-
Powder and Nano Brows generally last about one to three years before a colour refresh is desired. Oily skin, frequent sun exposure, active skincare, sweating and individual metabolism can cause faster fading. Gradual fading is expected and allows the brows to be adjusted over time as your face and preferences change.
-
A perfecting session is not automatically required. Once your brows have healed, we assess the colour, shape and pigment retention. If they healed evenly and you are happy with the result, there is no reason to add more pigment simply because a certain amount of time has passed.
In many cases, permanent brows are a two-step process. A perfecting session may be helpful if the healed colour is lighter than you wanted, a small area did not retain evenly, or the shape needs a minor adjustment. If needed, it is scheduled once the brows have fully healed.
-
Possibly, but the old pigment must be assessed first. If it is light enough and the existing shape works with the new design, correction may be possible. If it is too dark, saturated, uneven or outside the desired shape, laser fading may be recommended before new brows are created. Send a clear, makeup-free photo or book a consultation before scheduling a brow procedure.
-
Yes, but the right approach depends on the existing shape, colour and saturation. Minor issues may sometimes be improved with correction, while dark or heavily saturated pigment may need to be faded with laser first. I will assess the existing work and explain the most realistic path toward softer, more natural-looking brows.
-
A first brow appointment usually takes about two and a half to three hours. That time includes the consultation, custom design, colour selection, numbing, tattooing and final review. The appointment is intentionally unrushed so we can make careful decisions together.
-
Please arrive with skin that is free from cuts, scratches, rashes, irritation, peeling, sunburn, or active breakouts. Follow the pre-care instructions provided before your appointment. Avoid tanning or sunburn, and pause brow waxing, tinting and strong treatments around the area for the stated period. Never stop prescription medication unless your prescribing healthcare professional has told you it is safe to do so.
-
Bloom uses a dry-healing approach, but dry healing does not mean leaving the brows unclean.
For the first hour after your appointment, gently wipe them with a mildly damp cotton pad every 20 minutes. Continue every three hours while you are awake until 24 hours have passed. You do not need to wake during the night.
On the evening of day 2, gently clean your brows with the cleanser provided, then apply a thin layer of the provided ointment. Continue cleaning and applying the ointment every morning and night until the flaking and peeling have finished.
During healing, avoid soaking the brows or allowing shower water to run over them for an extended period. Also avoid heavy sweating, saunas, steam rooms and hot yoga. Gentle cleaning is important. Prolonged water exposure is what should be avoided. Once all flaking and peeling are complete and the skin has closed, you can resume your normal routine.
Care Instructions
To ensure a smooth procedure and optimal healed results,
please follow these guidelines.
Pre-care
-
Healthy Skin Routine: Maintain healthy skin, as it's essential for a successful procedure and beautiful results.
Sun Exposure: Avoid UV exposure on your face for 2 weeks before and after your appointment to prevent rescheduling due to sunburn.
Exfoliation: Gently exfoliate the brow area in the days before your appointment to remove dead skin and ensure optimal condition for tattooing. Avoid harsh scrubbing.
Vitamin A/Retinol: To reduce skin sensitivity, stop using products containing vitamin A or retinol four weeks before your appointment.
-
24 Hours Before Your Appointment:
Medications and Supplements: Avoid aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oils, vitamin E, and other blood thinners.
Alcohol: Refrain from consuming alcohol.
Caffeine: Limit intake. A small cup of coffee three hours before your appointment is permissible.
-
Facial Treatments: Do not wax, tweeze, or tint the brow area within 1 week of your appointment. Avoid facials and chemical peels within 2 weeks.
Cosmetic Injections and Fillers: Avoid cosmetic injections or filler treatments in the facial area for at least 3 weeks before your procedure.
After-care
-
Immediate Cleaning: Once you get home, for the first hour after your appointment, clean your brows every 20 minutes with a damp cotton pad to remove lymph fluid and minimize scabbing.
Regular Cleaning: Continue to clean every 2 to 3 hours with a damp cotton pad.
-
Washing and Moisturizing: Gently wash the treated area with the cleanser provided in your aftercare kit each morning and evening. Pat dry gently and apply a very thin layer of aftercare ointment using a rice-sized amount for both brows. Use clean hands or a Q-tip, and avoid oversaturating.
-
Water Exposure: Avoid soaking the treated area. Only wash as instructed.
Sweating: Avoid heavy sweating for the first three days to protect pigment retention.
Heat and Steam: Avoid steam rooms and saunas, and reduce shower temperature and duration for the first 10 days.
Scab Care: Do not pick at scabs. Let them shed naturally to avoid scarring and pigment loss.
Product Restrictions: For 10 days after the procedure, avoid applying skincare products on or near the treated area. For dry skin, apply a gentle moisturizer at the hairline only.
Makeup: To prevent infection, avoid makeup on the brow or forehead area for at least 10 days after the procedure.
-
Initial Appearance: Immediately after your brow treatment, the pigment will appear darker and more intense. This initial darkness is part of the healing process.
Lightening Phase: The colour will lighten significantly as the outer skin layer heals and exfoliates.
Color Stabilization: Over the next 2-4 weeks, the pigment will continue to settle. The final colour and shape are typically softer and more natural by week 4.
-
Assessment: After the healing phase, assess whether the brows need a touch-up. Minor adjustments can be made, especially if there are any uneven areas.
Scheduling: Touch-ups are usually done 6 to 8 weeks post-procedure.
-
Patience and Care: Be patient and follow all aftercare instructions to support the best possible healing.
Protection: Protect your brows from excessive sunlight and avoid harsh facial treatments during the healing period.
